Bay Area's risky housing values measured |

Of the country's 50 largest metro areas, homeowners in San Jose stand the greatest chance of seeing their homes plunge in value, according to the autumn 2004 Risk Index, released Thursday by PMI Mortgage Insurance Co.
Oakland and San Francisco area homeowners followed closely behind. All three Bay Area cities slightly lowered their risk from the previous quarter.
